Don’t be my Augustus Waters, you dude. Be my Chandler Bing.

I grew up watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S

Thus, for me a perfect love story is not of Cinderella or Snow White but of Monica and Chandler.

Though the sarcasm machine and cleanliness freak as the characters were seemed like an odd match at first, they grew together, built a bond both strong and inspiring.

Their love story in short ruined my all relationship because I wanted to share the same thing as they did.

The ‘not-so-fancy-yet-perfect-couple’ stood high standards of relationship for us because they managed to make that illusive but ideal transition, from friends to lovers.

Getting together with your friend can often be one way ticket to the akward-ville, and more often than not it ends with miscommunication and hurt feelings.

If Chandler, being the most non-boyfriend material could be the exception then why could we not be the same?

We being the “tech” generation are webbed inside the virtual world. It is too easy to find a partner, just fucking download an app.

Tinder helps you in finding a partner. You can find all your ‘forever akele’ friends there because it gives them hope that they won’t be celebrating the next valentine day alone.

I am on Tinder and I think I found my man, but what next?

I need relationship goals because it is too hard to get inspiration from our surroundings.

My best friend just had a breakup, my roommate is not too satisfied with her partner and even my dog has moved on from his last relation.

Well, it was not just Ross and Rachel but now everybody wants a break!

I never felt what it is like to be truly on love, but the Mondler phase of my life gave me some awesome lessons.

There is no such thing as a perfect fit because despite Monica being a complete freak, a question machine, and ‘too loud for such a small person,’ Chandler loves her.

Chandler, well..umm..isn’t an easy one to take either! He’s a hoot and his joke, joke, joke syndrome can get to anyone getting on board with him for life time!

Monica is up for it. And you know why – because true love is accepting of each other’s flaws and being able to give love, in spite of them.

Not only did Monica help Chandler to overcome his commitment phobia, but Chandler proved his undying commitment to his lady love innumerable times.

Who can deny the irresistible appeal of words like these?

Monica, I thought that this was going to be the most difficult thing I ever had to do. But when I saw you walk down the aisle, I realized how simple this was! I love you. Any surprises that come our way, it’s okay because I will always love you”

Could it be any more LOVE-ly ??????<Chandler style>

Monica and Chandler are a couple who are willing to sow the seed, nurture it daily till it gets ready to give fruits.

They are always more than ready for any situation that knocks their door.

They know that they cannot do anything without each other and that makes them do ‘anything’ for each other, without exceptions.

Whether it be watching shark porn or carrying Monica because of her painful boots! Which in Chandler’s words, were at the cost of the husband.

And yet, he lovingly have her had those boots and even, lose them!

Oh, unconditional love!!

Nothing can be just as perfect as it was shown in the show but now I know what I want and won’t settle for something less.

When fictional relationship transcends fictional reality, it’s got to be the hand of universe.

I just wish to find my lobster and walk through the sands of time.

Augustus Waters and Hazel from fault in our stars made us cry with their each breath they took.

They shared their love in the most beautiful way but I don’t want love to be just about pain.

I want love to be funny because It is not pain which demands are to be felt, it is love and just love.

The goals set up by Mondler taught me that no matter what the tempestuous storms of the past are, (especially when they are in the form of the devastatingly charming Dr. Richard Burke or the Oh-My-God Janice), there’s light at the end of the tunnel.

This is something meaningful that I have managed to grab off the idiot box. What about you?

  • It put a bullet through my heart…. Chandler said Monica “I dont love you because you are organised.. I love you despite that’.. Truely its about accepting the flaws and learning to love the other one for it… #BeMyBing.. Lovely peice of writing.
