There’s a widespread assumption that menfolk are hard-wired to view women as sexual objects, and that, as more visual creatures, all it takes is a close-up picture of an arse to get their priapic blood pumping. At least the success of Savita bhabhi and play boy magazine’s success says the same! Women, meanwhile, the theory goes, need intimacy, empathy, and romantic scenarios involving candles in order to get off. Really ladies, candles ?? Studies show that women are less turned on by erotic images than men, which must be why so many of us are so indifferent to porn, right? RIGHT?
I personally don’t know much about scientific theories but know this for the fact that regular porn available freely is utterly FAKE! I mean which women does ohh ahhh …yes baby..at the time of undressing. This fakeness leads to high expectations of men which ultimately makes it a competitive sport called- LET’S SEE WHO CUMS FIRST.
“Game hi khelna tha to ludo Khel lete , that’s much exciting, par nhi hum to ji Angrezi fimlo vala Prem hi kareinge”
It’s fair to say, after all, that most of the pornography made is targeted at men, and that there is a massive reliance on the “money shot” - usually a close up of a massive, throbbing penis entering a bald and perfectly symmetrical vagina. Perhaps it’s because of porn that some men imagine we’ll be sent into raptures of ecstatic delight simply by receiving a picture message of their erect penis while we’re sitting on the bus. Close-ups of genitalia don’t tend to really do it for us. majority of women don’t find the penis aesthetically pleasing but how to tell this to random Facebook uncle sending his dick pic everyday.
It is often believed that, women are turned on by romance novels and something which is nauseatingly termed “the awakening of love” (and no, they don’t mean a boner). So leave the smutty stuff to the lads, ladies, because what really gets us going is a committed relationship with a strong male who is emotional and gentle as well. Sexy.
Other sciency-type people claim that women like to be able to project themselves into the situation, while men will simply objectify the actors (women). If this is indeed the case then it’s no surprise that some women are left cold when trying to imagine themselves spontaneously orgasming because they love being ejaculated on that much. At least with books you can imagine that the characters are having a good time, rather than watching actors who are not.
Mainstream porn’s entire purpose is to get the man off – which, with porn acting as default sex education in the absence of discussion of real world sex - results in men and women growing up believing the entire purpose of sex is to get the man off.
I have an issue with the use of the terms ‘feminist porn’ and ‘porn for women,’ though. Whether or not it’s the reality, the terms tend to conjure up clichéd misperceptions of what ‘for women’ means: gentle touchy-feely stuff, white curtains fluttering in the breeze…
Additionally, inherent within those descriptions is a belief that men won’t go near that kind of porn. Men haven’t even begun to see what experience porn created through the female lens can bring, and they haven’t even begun to realize how incredibly hot and arousing they will find it. There is a huge amount of money to be made out of taking women seriously.
