I would like to know if it is safe to book uncle's room in Guwahati, Assam as my GF is really worried of interrogations, false allegations, moral humiliations, police raid and stuff that we see in some movies. Also can they be booked for just 4 to 5 hours where check-in can be done at 9 am and check-out on 2/3 pm?

Hello dearest Devin uncle! It is absolutely safe to book hotel as long as you do it via StayUncle and you both are 18plus and have a valid ID proof to present at the time of check-in. The only reasons the police raid hotels are if they are really shady budget hotels and the guests are not registered in the hotel guest book. That is a cause of human trafficking and thus gives the police the freedom to take action,
