Why no hotels in Coimbatore?

Hi,
Am looking for a special place in Coimbatore to take my gf.
Why there are no hotels in Coimbatore but its there in Ooty?
You know Ooty is too long and many are waiting to get a place in Coimbatore.
Can you help out uncle?
