In the name of the Father, The Son and the Holy condom ad ban

“In view of the above, all TV channels are hereby advised not to telecast the advertisements of condoms which are for a particular age group and could be indecent/inappropriate for viewing by children. Indecent, vulgar, suggestive, repulsive or offensive themes or treatment shall be avoided in all advertisements.”

Well damn.

Here we are at the end of 2017, the roaring age of internet, world getting smaller, races coming together, genders coming together and here it is in this land, a governmental body in a paradigm paralysis.

What in God’s name is wrong with these people?

So you mean to tell me that it is okay to show rapes, molestations, people burning alive, soft porn on screen, murders, violence, politics, people fucking in the shadows, blood and gore for children to watch in movies and programmes that come on TV (which they do despite the rating) but no, you cannot show ads about a medically approved tool that might actually save lives.

Someone please explain to me how all of the above is not “indecent/inappropriate for viewing by children, indecent, vulgar, suggestive, repulsive or offensive themes?”

Do they really think that the current young generations do not know about sex?

Boys start masturbating at the age of 11, and a lot of them do it multiple times a day. A mere child whose body has biologically started producing a fluid can create another life! How is that not a cause of concern. Girls develop pregnancy worthy bodies around 13 years on an average and that is not alarming for them? It’s like leaving an unlocked gun in the hands of a child.

Let’s not kid ourselves and be under a delusion that kids do not need to know what that white glorious decoction is capable of, because oh, they are children only.

Like…LEL. Let’s keep everyone in the dark ages of cave man sex. No Umbrella shall enter a Ladygarden because fuck the kids should not know what a PENIS is and what a VAGINA is.

Yes. Back to the dark ages ladiz and gentz. Bring your candles out.

What exactly IS offensive about the condom ads?

Why should the children of today not be educated or exposed to the idea of using condoms?

Why should they not be told why it is used and what all it can prevent? What is the shame in that?

How easy it is for them to access porn…it is generally only a matter of time that they start trying out stuff, first with themselves, and then with others.

Look, let me tell you, kids know about porn, they know about sex and they know about positions. Internet is easily available; if not in your home, someone else’s home, a friend’s phone, someone else’s wifi connection and absent parents who have gone off to work.

They will see what they want to.

We cannot stop that, so the next best thing to do is to accept what is happening these days and instead of hushing it up and making kids sexually uneducated and dumb, equip them with information, that will help them make better decisions. This is just basic knowledge of something primal.

Here at StayUncle we once thought of celebrating sales milestones by hiring a bus and throwing condoms from its rooftop throughout the city. Today this sounds way too reasonable.
