You know that you have Alok Nath syndrome, when Sasural Simar ka always finds a place in your to- view list.
This syndrome effects a person’s mental capacity and with every stripping scene on-screen you might find them flipping the channel due to profound uneasiness.
If that’s the case then almost 80% of our population is severely affected by this.
Don’t you think this uneasiness is root cause for our hidden browser history or your secret crush on Sunny Leone? Although the youth these days has managed to find the immunity pills known as ‘GOT’.
Yes, I am talking about the TV series which is famous for let’s say porn with an awesome plot
Game of thrones is freakingly wild and represent the pervert side of the audience.
Everybody else is in the serious drama side with same story having different star casts. I mean who could possibly tell the major difference between F.R.I.E.N.D.S and How I Met Your Mother?
It was Joey who turned into the LEGEN- wait for it-DARY, Barney Stinson.
“The hype around GOT is so enormous that it might just be the second most followed thing in the world after Christianity”
The fans of GoT look like baboon high on mushrooms every Monday morning.
Sex scenes in the nude? Gee!
Maybe I should watch–This was my first reaction when I heard about this show. And honestly mostly people started watching it for the same reason.
But the love for this show is not just because of too much boobs on display but because it revived the early modern era that might have existed.
Of course the show is fictional but fiction is not born out of nothing.
Although the critics always had a question-why so blatant? Why so nude?
Oh, wait, there’s actually quite a lot of stuff that would turn me off. There are numerous types of killings, beheadings, tortures, assassinations, assaults. And all you’re worried about is nudity?
This show is for a targeted audience and by that I mean the one who are not watching naked people for the first time, their browser history is evident of that.
Why do we have to act so dramatically for each scene after all that’s actually what is underneath most people’s clothing… naked skin.
Instead of opening our mouth in each scene for a big ‘haww’ can we open it to admire the bold plus crazy plot of the show?
One minute you see a king and his old friend smiling as they reunite, then the next you see the king’s wife having sex with her brother!
Oh, and then the brother pushes a kid out of the window because the poor boy was unfortunate enough to see such acts.
Whoever wrote this is a strange yet brilliant person.
Although sometimes it did feel like the extra adult stuff is just added to boost the ratings. The amount of butts I’ve seen is far too many than the show needs.
I mean, did I really need to see Ramsey’s butt so many times? It is like in every next ten minutes someone is naked or about to be.
But the beauty of the show lies in the fact that after Harry Potter series this is the only one which exploded our head and forced us to think beyond reality.
Besides what I think is the obvious, every person should at least give “Game of Thrones” a chance.
When I say everyone, I mean everyone who is mature enough to handle the nudity, sex, blood, gore, and everything else relatively repulsive and a tad nauseating.
And you make sure to laugh at your friends who watch “Grey’s Anatomy” for crying over characters dying. They have no idea.
Game of Thrones might forever be mocked as the “tits and dragons” show, but is it finally wising up about how to use sex and nudity?
I would argue a huge, resounding yes.
Why to keep sex as secrecy?
Saying the word ‘Sex’ loud in public is like calling out ‘Voldemort’ in common room of Hogwarts.
Isn’t everybody performing the same acts in their private rooms?
It is okay for us to be a regular visitor of pornhub.com but it suddenly becomes chii- chii as it flashes on our television.
This makes us, as a society, notably uncomfortable. If we see a woman’s nipples poking through her shirt in public, we feel uncomfortable, for ourselves and for her.
This is because, for some reason, society has decided that’s not the way it’s supposed to be. Who is it to decide what women (and men) should and shouldn’t wear in public? It isn’t up to society. It is up to the individual.
With more upcoming bold shows like GoT there’s a progressive wind blowing throughout the world.
It’s affecting the course of the narrative and the type of nudity we’re seeing onscreen.
Could this be a sign of bigger, better things to come? All those who still feel that the show is only about nudity then I would say bhai dekh le, kaam hi Aaega!!!*wink*
